The Gateway Parrot Club of St. Louis is the standard of
which all parrot clubs may want to
emulate. I was most impressed with not only the
seminar, but also the clubs officers and
members. Their high standards and ideals should
be a model for any current parrot club or
any club in the planning stages. Rescue is very
important to Gateway, while selling parrots
is not. Bird clubs who's only purpose
is to sell and trade parrots is in my view, nothing
more than a business under the guise of being a "parrot
club". Donating to research for
parrot diseases should be the every real parrot
clubs priority. Gateway is one of those clubs.

The speakers were of course top-notch. I, on the
other hand enjoy talking so much that I
ran out of time before I came to my main points. I hope that
what I did cover however had
an impact on those present and they will visit my web site in order
to get a better feel for
what we at mytoos.com are trying to accomplish. Everyone was
extremely nice, and I'd
like to personally thank Janet, Cathy, and Michelle for being so
wonderful to me.
