I doubt you'll be able to. She regularly posts cockatoos on petfinder, in the newspaper and on a few other online classifieds sections.
She has this bird (and a M2) online right now for $1200 or $1500 with the cage. Her reasoning in the ad is
"I have to get rid of him because he is not getting the attention he needs because of a young baby and a cat whom is not at all fond of him."
She must be getting pretty desperate if she is lowering the price, though.
You can always try Perfectly Precious Rescue and Adoption, but I know they recently have had birds come in with PDD and many of their foster homes may have been exposed to it.
If you do call, you could probably suggest her getting in touch with Dr Kersting. I've already tried that, though - on several occasions.
I know he wont pay for the bird, but if push comes to shove someone from his office probably could help out.
