Cookie currently eats green beans, grapes, zupreem pellets, seeds, vitamin water, corn and rice. But all this is in very less quantity. How do i make her eat more?

What quantity of pellets are good for her?

Can I eliminate seeds completely?

Bhumika.

You should probably try offering fresh vegetables on a skewer, kind of like a food toy.

Our 'Toos' dry bowl includes pellets, safflower based seed mix, whole grain cereal and freeze dried vegetables. Several people have remarked lately that their 'Toos ate pellets better if just a few are offered. We have noticed that to be true also.

Personally, I believe in offering seeds in moderation. One of the purposes of the beak is to efficiently hull seeds so I don't believe in cutting them out altogether.
