I've been wonder and searching for information about diffrent types of sprouts and I got to wondering about sweet grass, but I haven't found any information about it reguarding Cockatoos. I guess not to many bird people are also cat people. Anyway, I was wonder if that would be ok to give Sugar Baby since I constantly have some growing for my cats.

I've never seen or heard of a large parrot that will actually eat any type of grass...but they will eat the seed from the grasses.

If you're big on sprouting, you can always try juicing the grasses or even drying them to make a powder to sprinkle on soft food, but I would definitely do a little research first just to be on the safe side.

From what I have been reading, germination seems to be preferred over sprouting nowdays. I suppose that's because there is less chance of making your bird sick from mold and/or spoilage...
