Yesterday my hubby rescued a baby bird. Unfortunately, I am not sure what kind of bird is this. The bird seems to be very tired and exhausted. It is not able to fly and I guess may not survive another night. For the time being, I have prepared a “milkcrate” with a lid on top of it. I am confused what could be its food. Going with my gut feeling, I have dug up some worms to feed them, but not sure if it is the appropriate food. I have once had the experience of trying to save one such orphaned bird but I could not save the poor creature.
The bird and animal control specialists usually identify species of birds they come across.

Search for licensed Rehabilitators in your area. They can take the bird and raise it up.
