My standard advice is to only get another bird if you really want one, and are prepared to take extreme measures in case they don't like each other (which is likely, given the fact that many birds don't recognize that they are birds due to hand-raising, forced-weaning, etc.)

I've been volunteering at a parrot rescue for over 10 years now, and it's quite rare to see bonding between different species. A grey is likely to not do much for your too, in terms of companionship, though of course you never know for sure how things will be ahead of time.
