Are you for real????Are you just trying to get people upset or are you legitimately posting this to either lighten the mood or get other peoples advice???

If you are trying to get under peoples skin...you came to the wrong place and it won't be tolerated here. Our time would be better spent "helping" someone who wants and needs help.If you came to learn then please do so.

Quick question. Has anyone done any research on carob powder and homemade carob "chocolate" with no sugar (natural sweeteners like Agave nectar..absolutely no artificial sweeteners) in it. I myself don't eat any white sugar, white flour or chemicals. But I do have a fantastic recipe for making my own chocolate chunks that is made from carob not cocao. Carob is very healthy for humans. Lots of good health benefits. Wonder if its okay for birdies.

With KiwiU2's history of attacking ice cream cones, recognizing the packaging of any product containing no-no's including a takeout pizza box, I wonder if it isn't so much the chocolate, but rather the carrier of the no-no food, that being FAT. She knows the difference between fat free and regular sour cream. I wonder what the bird would do with a cocoa bean, and would it be a food source while still on the plant. I have also wondered how the avocado farmers keep the birds off their trees, or have all the birds in the areas of the farms been destroyed. I take no offense to being a chocolate addict even if I am a woman. Love ya all, Janie & KiwiU2

Thank you for having a sense of humor about one of life's funny stereotypes.

I can't find anything saying that carob is bad for parrots. One will even find it in some parrot treats and mixes. I would always use moderation in these things however.
