It is with regret that I announce the stepping down of Bev Penny (ZazuSally) as the leader of our Applied Behavior Analysis Forum. This regret is tempered with the knowledge that she will continue helping birds and owners that need her through another venue that we will all, hopefully, by privy to in the near future. I want to personally thank her for her contributions here. She has stated that she would like to write more as well and these are valuable articles that she will share with us.

For the near future, we will continue to have the ABA Forum led by EchosMom (Janet) and Beeps. All members helped by Bev may feel free to express their thanks on this thread.

I most definitely would like to express my thanks to Bev for the giving of herself and sharing her knowledge of ABA so freely and selflessly to everyone here at Mytoos. She will be greatly missed, that's for sure.

On a happier note, I want to welcome Beeps to the ABA forum team. Beeps has demonstrated a good knowledge of ABA and is extremely knowledgeable in clicker training, which uses the principles of ABA. Thanks you Beeps for accepting our invitation to co-lead the forum.

Bev I sincerely want to thank you for all I have learned through your teachings. ABA has become a way of life for us, and it is due to you and Janet. All of my feathered angels have a far better life than they would have, if it had not been for your patient teaching of ABA. You taught me how to view the world through my angels eyes, and that has been, and will continue to be an amazing journey. While I have learned a great deal, I know that it is a never ending process. You helped to open that door, and I will forever be grateful. Hopefully I will be able to pay it forward in whatever small way I possibly can by sharing here in this forum and in my own community.

Thank You Bev for opening the door to an amazing journey!

Bev,best wishes to you! You have made such a difference in our lives. When some of his relatives accuse us of spoling Emmy, Hubby now refers to us as "Emmy's flock" and explains things from Emmy's point of view. Emmy's happy, we're happy, and life with Emmy is very good. Thank you so very, very much! You have made a significant and positive difference in our lives. Abea

Bev, this is a little late but the posts on ABA have helped in more ways than you'll ever know! Although I wasn't able to keep Brewster, my teenage son with Asberger's seems to be doing better. Keep writing! You never know when the things you say will make a difference in someone's life. Janet & Beeps...you are awesome!

As always, I'm behind in reading all the posts. Bev, I'd like to add my thanks for your efforts and expertise. You certainly are a part of what has helped make my relationship w/ Bogie so solid. I wish you much success in any future endeavor, and look forward to more wise counsel from the ABA Forum.

Bev sorry I'm really, really late. I had been just checking to see if anything had been added to my ABA thread and missed this one.

I've been dealing with my yougest getting married and my Dad having cancer so have been mostly MIA.

Thank You for your help with Rocky(Roxy)
Good Luck!
