well i thought maybe i,d have got somewhere by now, birdi seems happy enough out of the cage with me sitting on the sofa watching him do what he does.

the only contact ive manged to have with him so far is him bitting me!

not a nasty bite hasent made me bleed or been to painfull more of a shock than anything.
i did once almost get him to take some food from me.

on a postive side he has put on some weight and i can no longer see his skin on the back of his wings.

It sounds like you are making some progress. Keep up the good work and go slow. It takes time for these birds to feel comfortable with us.
I would take the bites as a warning that you may be moving too fast. Back off a little and keep offering him food. Especially something he partiularlly likes. Something I found that helped here was to sit and read or play some music and sing to them.
Good luck and keep us posted.

You have two choices: accept things the way they are, or have courage to change them. J Kanani
