Hopefully Charlie will pipe up and give me some tips to keep the snakes out for next season. frown I came in a gave Scarlett a kiss and it made me feel better. She is the reason I have come to care so much about birds. I never knew how smart they were until she came along.

There's nothing to say to ease the pain. It's just nature doing her job and really no reason to be upset, because it happens. I use a 1/2" galvanized pipe and screw it into a 1/2" FLOOR FLANGE attached to the bird house. I haven't had any problems but, then again, this is our first year to have nesting Bluebirds. Try not to worry unduly! smile
