I think the easiest way to monitor your bird is a weigh in. I bought a scale at Bed, Bath, and Beyond for 29.00 and I weigh S about 2-3 times a week. I keep a log and dates of weigh in. I also printed EM's article for a reference when I need it. I keep a binder full of emergency and pertinent info so when in doubt, I have it in print! Just a suggestion cuz when things happen you have good resources! Thanks EM.
