Over the weekend I have been graced by having 5 more birds brought to me.
3 x Cockatiels

1x Galah

1x GSC2

All were unwanted pets from two different homes.

The tiels and the Galah are in quite good condition and were given up because they don't have enough time for them.

The GSC2 is another story, he had been hand reared by these people and stuck into an avairy and left!!!

He is very very under weight for an 18 month old GSC2.
and was extreamly hungry and thirsty. I have never seen a bird eat or drink so much ever!!!

He is very timid and obviously very scared. He freaks at the sight of men and goes into the corner and hides...

He will let me touch him in his cage without biting me. I have feeding him treats when I go to his cage and he is learning.

He has been tessted for everything under the sun before I could take him in, due to having so many other birds I can't take any chances. PBFD is so big here it's the first thing checked.

His diet or lack of will be dicussed this week with the avian.

Kind regards
JACKIE
