As he is totally finished HEAVING the coarse pellets throughout the room (apparenlty it's not to his nib's liking) he is now in the process of rapidly chewing through the rope. Here I thought that he'd like a little more room to run around on and through screwing bits of wood and running tightly twisted rope around he had a veritable jungle gym on that damned perch and he'd have a blast.

No. He is systematically taking the rope off. No rope thank you.

BUT it sure is keeping him BUSY!!!

Hehe! I had to return a pair of new shoes I just bought myself last week, after overspending at the bird store ... AGAIN! If my girls only knew what a sacrifice this was - I LOVE shoes! wink

OHMIGOSH... I just can't stop laughing with you guys tonight... I have shared nearly all of your sentiments. Megan, don't you just love that when you come up with this wonderfull creative way to enrich his life and environment, spend 2 days putting it together for HIS enjoyment and with his first exposure to your masterpiece , spends 7 minutes tops just taking enough of it apart to render it useless.... Been there.... Im running out of raw materials.... LOL...

I'm going back tothe store and getting another 6 feet of rope! I'll just keep adding bits here and there and he can just keep taking them off for all I care. He'll either get used to it, OR he'll get good at removal!!!!

lol. Sure he is grateful to you! For giving him a brilliant new toy, something he can take down grin

I built little walkways for our little 'too who can't fly. From his cage to a table and across to the window, and another back to the cage.
I thought he would like being able to get around...but all he did was chew the new chew toys...I made the walkways from pine crazy

love your signature spinnyspoo smile
