Please read the article. This happened in Reseda, So California which is the West Valley shelters district. It claims the birds were sent to many of the LA shelters but so far no info has been posted on their site / www.laanimalservices.com /

I forwarded an email to Mickaboo and the Lily Sanctuary. I'm looking for more rescues. The LA shelters have no Avian vet or the facilities to care for such birds. Most often they go without proper care until adopted out to whoever wants them. There is no background or care in the world to who they go to. It would be lovely if people here are in the area and can help to adopt or get them to rescues before the general uneducated public gets to them. Sometimes they will release such animals to verified 501c3 rescues even without charge if the space and care is limited.

Again they are at LA animal services
