We made one out of pvc connectors and pine dowels. The base is an x with a vertical hole for the stand, which is a pvc pipe, which has a pvc connector at the top with a horizontal pine dowel.

Your bird may not like, or be scared of the perch at first. If you believe this may happen, have your bird in one part of the room or out of the room, but where they can see you. Take the perch and act like it is the best thing in the world. You bird may get curious or jealous and come use it.

Or slowely introduce it. Let your bird see it from a distance. And slowly let your bird come closer and closer to the perch. Until finally your 'Too will go on the perch.

But your bird may like the perch the first time you try it. Luckily I am always introducing new things to my bird so that when something new does come along, she isn't as frightened of it and comes to like it better.

Does this help any? Good luck.
