Here are a few shots of me after a free flight display with a very special Brown Falcon' named GT.
People get an opportunity to 'hold' GT after the show (even little kids) - I put the glove, with GT secured to it, on their hand. Notice his relaxed body language - this little guy seems to love being passed around and admired!! He is a sweetheart..

GT free flies in the show - brown falcons have been recorded doing 240km/hr in a dive, when hunting - they rely on their speed more than any other adaptation to survive. I simulate him hunting a snake in the show(a fake one) to show people how they circle and dive to hunt. He gets a food reward(portion of rat, yum!!) for 'catching the snake.

He's gorgeous Anita.

I just want to remind everyone, especially new members of the dangers of free flight. Even the experts lose birds sometimes and never recover them. Our cockatoos and other parrots do not know how to take care of themselves in the wild.

Birds are angels who lift us up when our own wings forget how to fly.

I work in Western Australia Brian - and Gail...the glove is thick but if they wanted to, the bigger raptors would go through the leather like melted butter!!

Those photos are awesome, tysm for sharing them. I will definitely keep Zen in my thoughts and prayers. I can only imagine what it is like to work with those gorgeous creatures. You have given us a little bit of insight through your posts and photos, and I thank you for that.
