Sorry for the shameless self-promotion but... As you may know I work at BFAS (Best Friends Animal Society) and have seen hundreds of cases of abuse, neglect and homelessness in a variety of exotic species, especially Toos.

This is the first of, what will hopefully be many, unofficial public service announcements. Feel free to leave comments, ask questions, send e-mails and visit our web site - http://network.bestfriends.org

Thank you, excellent video. And I visited the website. I'm in the process of reading the book. The work being done there is incredible! Would love to visit some day. Wish I had known the location this past Sept we drove right through Kanab.

This made me so sad but it was so very well done. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Best Friends is what every rescue should strive to be. Which reminds me, Chopper's Toys is raising funds for 4 rescues. Best Friends is one of them and the last time I looked they only had $21. We can't have that. So let's see what My Toos can do to help. Claudia has some fantastic stuff so if you need to buy birdy stuff and we all do, why not help Best Friends at the same time.

The video made me so sad. Every day I'm fearful about what might happen to Rocco when my time comes. I'm 51, and he's just going on 5.

ZazuSally, thanks for the Choppers Toys link.

Thanks for all positive feedback!

Feel free to share this with anyone, anywhere, anytime. The goal is to spread this kind of information to as many people as possible. Perhaps, turn some heads and get people to realize the commitment involved in bird "guardianship" (I prefer that word over the alternative).
