Noelle grew new wings today and took flight to Rainbow Bridge. She passed gently in my arms today, at home, while we sat in my favorite chair and I rocked her. The vet came to us and assisted her to insure that she passed peacefully. Forever in my heart, she is free and whole, never to suffer again. Indications are PDD raised its ugly head.
Birds are angels who lift us up when our own wings forget how to fly.

I'm sure there are tears tonite, and I know there are here, and across the heavens. Remember, you should also be very proud ,Janet. When your turn comes to fly high, don't forget to visit that bridge, someone very special will be waiting for you. God Bless.
Janet, I am so very sorry. I know how much you loved her and the lengths you went to to make sure she had the best home and care possible. I know your heart is broken and your flock misses her too. She went through a lot, she was lucky to have you by her side. You will see her again and I hope I get to meet her one day too! I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. Kim
I read about this poor creature and your rescue of her here many years ago. Her story was so poignant that I've never forgotten her. I came here today to see how you guys were doing. I'm sad that she's passed but I want to thank you for giving many years of love and comfort. I'm sorry for your lose but thank you for loving her.
Oh no, I just read this & can't believe Noelle is gone... my deepest condolences to you Janet, you must be heartbroken. I remember seeing the pictures of Noelle when I first joined this group & was inspired by how much she was cared for & loved, she was truly blessed to have found such a loving home with you. My thoughts are with you at this very sad time :'(
If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem Cheers, Tracy-Ann & Sam
Oh Janet NO! We know there is no words. I do know that if I were a bird your heart and home is where I would want my life to be. I recall when she joined your flock. She will be so missed and your flock will miss her too. Love to you, your family and flock.
