Does anybody know if if is harmful for Toos to chew on those rawhide chew toys for dogs??? My G2 is doing that as we speak, please advise. I can't recall ever hearing if they are or aren't.

I see many commercially made parrot toys that use them, I imagine they must be safe. If still in doubt, a quick call to your avian vet can't hurt. I do give them to mine sometimes & they don't seem to eat them, I find plenty of torn bits on the cage floor.

If you type in rawhide in the search function and que it for "newer than 7 yrs", you'll find quite a number of threads.
