Hello,
I have been reading several of the posts. I was wondering if someone would be willing to list the different breeds of Cockatoos and tell me a lil something about each breed. I am not asking because I am looking for anything type of bird. I have Cosmo bird coming on tuesday and I am perfectally happy with him. Just in reading the threads it woul dbe helpful to know a bit about each breed. Thanks a bunch in advance. I hope I am not stepping on toes.
Good day,
Nic

Moluccan Cockatoo

* Click here for a more scientific description of M2's.

* This link talks the natural habitat of M2's and conservation projects.

* This is our own FAQ page about Moluccans.

Be very care with any links you post here because we do not allow links to breeders... no matter how good their information is. (I've already deleted one breeders link).

Sometime I think many members here fail to look at the main Mytoos website in order to find in-house information like this:

CLASS OF COCKATOOS

We are revamping the site to make this easier.

Hi canibugu: check this page out:

http://www.arndt-verlag.com/cockatoo.htm

Also, a nitpicky point: the different varieties of cockatoos are called "species." A breed is a variant of a species of domestic animal, such as a dog breed.
